Re: Religijski chat
Brzinski pozdrav ovdje, uz jednu zanimljivu vijest
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/feb/02/iceland-temple-norse-gods-1000-years
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/feb/02/iceland-temple-norse-gods-1000-years
Icelanders will soon be able to publicly worship at a shrine to Thor, Odin and Frigg with construction starting this month on the island’s first major temple to the Norse gods since the Viking age.
Worship of the gods in Scandinavia gave way to Christianity around 1,000 years ago but a modern version of Norse paganism has been gaining popularity in Iceland.
“I don’t believe anyone believes in a one-eyed man who is riding about on a horse with eight feet,” said Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson, high priest of Ásatrúarfélagið, an association that promotes faith in the Norse gods.
“We see the stories as poetic metaphors and a manifestation of the forces of nature and human psychology.”
Membership in Ásatrúarfélagið has tripled in Iceland in the last decade to 2,400 members last year, out of a total population of 330,000, data from Statistics Iceland showed.
The temple will be circular and will be dug 4 metres (13ft) down into a hill overlooking the Icelandic capital Reykjavik, with a dome on top to let in the sunlight.
“The sun changes with the seasons so we are in a way having the sun paint the space for us,” Hilmarsson said.
The temple will host ceremonies such as weddings and funerals. The group will also confer names to children and initiate teenagers, similar to other religious communities.
Iceland’s neo-pagans still celebrate the ancient sacrificial ritual of Blot with music, reading, eating and drinking, but nowadays leave out the slaughter of animals.

(...)
An ancient Christian oracle book of mysterious origins has been recently translated and found to contain a collection of encouragements, warnings, and cryptic divinations.
The 1,500-year-old tome, measuring less than three inches (7.5 centimeters) in height, has been translated from Coptic, an Egyptian language, and has surprised experts who initially presumed it was a typical gospel as understood in the traditional sense – a recounting of the life and death of Jesus. However, despite being titled “The Gospel of the Lots of Mary”, the miniature codex is not about Christian figures, but instead a book of guidance and reassurance, to be used as a resource for those seeking help for life’s problems.
According to LiveScience, the volume is very unique. Professor of religion at Princeton University, AnneMarie Luijendijk writes in her book “Forbidden Oracles? The Gospel of the Lots of Mary”, “When I began deciphering the manuscript and encountered the word 'gospel' in the opening line, I expected to read a narrative about the life and death of Jesus as the canonical gospels present, or a collection of sayings similar to the Gospel of Thomas (a non-canonical text).”
However, upon translation of the elegantly written text, Luijendijk discovered few references to Jesus in the series of 37 oracles.

Re: Religijski chat
sramota i ruglo."
[Knjiga Sirahova* 42, 14]
"Sir 25,24 Od žene je grijeh počeo i zbog nje svi umiremo. "
Krist, glava ženi muž, a glava Kristu Bog."
dopušteno govoriti, nego neka budu podložne, kako i Zakon govori.
I nije
stvoren muž radi žene, nego žena radi muža."
1Korinćanima 11
Postanak 3,16 A ženi reče: "Trudnoći tvojoj muke ću umnožit, u
mukama djecu ćeš rađati. Žudnja će te mužu tjerati, a on će
gospodariti nad tobom.
Mnogi ljudi
Ali, kako kažu Amerikanci, „better late than never“.
Bog, dakle, garantira svojim autoritetom – putem najosobnijeg vjerničkog iskustva i uz pomoć znakova vjerodostojnosti izvana - za valjanost sakramenata, nauka Crkve i njene temeljne hijerarhijske i karizmatske strukture.
